Small Animal Vet - Surgical Bias, Westmoor, Devon

Up to 65,000 DOE

We are an RCVS Accredited Small Animal Hospital set in the beautiful town of Tavistock, West Devon and we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to come join our dedicated team. Our practice has invested in the latest up to date equipment in order to provide you with the best possible working environment and your new role would be supporting our amazing team in managing our busy inpatient and surgical caseload.

Our team includes 9 Vets, 12 RVNs and strong support staff. We have certificate holders in Cardiology, Medicine and Imaging as well as vets currently completing certificates in surgery and ophthalmology and we also have a visiting dermatologist We pride ourselves on providing a quality, caring service and have qualified nurses on site overnight to care for any inpatients. Our equipment includes laparoscopy, endoscopy, operating microscope, ultrasound and dental radiography.

The practice is situated in picturesque Tavistock (Devon) with easy access to Dartmoor, Cornwall and the coast, and not far from the cities of Exeter and Plymouth.

You would be supported by a progressive team where CPD is encouraged and fully funded. The salary is generous and the hours can be negotiated to suit both parties, we will consider both full and part time applications.

We would love to offer this role to someone who has or is working towards their certAVP in surgery.
