Veterinary Surgeon: Maternity Cover or Permanent (Dalkeith)

Salary £40,000-£60,000 p/a (pro rata)

We’re seeking a confident vet to join our friendly Braid team at our Dalkeith branch!

Replacing a colleague who will be going on maternity leave later this year, we can offer a fixed-term or permanent role to fit around your requirements; we’re also happy to discuss a part-time or reduced-hours role.

Based just outside of Edinburgh, our Dalkeith branch offers excellent service to the local community. This is a first-opinion practice but there is plenty of scope to work up cases and operate in-house, with support from our nearby hospital if required.

You will be working sole charge (alongside our RVN, animal care assistant and reception team) so will need to be confident and self-sufficient.

• Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications

• 3 - 5 days per week (no more than 40h per week)

• 1 in 6 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at the hospital with equal TOIL given back 6.6 weeks of holiday per year VDS cover

 If joining the team on a permanent basis, we can also offer:

• CPD allowance of £1750 per annum, with further qualifications supported
