Head Veterinary Nurse, Weymouth Vets4Pets

Full or Part Time

Our fabulous home-grown Head Nurse is leaving the area to move into referral practice, so we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our nursing team - a motivated RVN who enjoys inspiring and organising a team and who is an experienced clinical coach.

The role includes 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-5pm) and no out of hours and we can offer you part time or full time hours. Salary £30000-35000 pro rata depending on experience.

We are a fun and friendly team of 15 who SUPPORT each other in providing the best level of patient care and client service we can, whilst prioritising colleague well-being. We embrace positive change and a just culture, regularly holding nurse meetings, training sessions and performing clinical audits to ensure we are always improving.

Our team are EXCITED about opportunities to progress, as a RCVS accredited Nurse Training practice we prioritise EDUCATION. Our vet team has over 35 years of experience and includes an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine. Our nursing team includes 4 RVNs, 3 SVNs and a VCA, plus a team of 3 receptionists. Our Practice Manager has been with us since we opened in 2014 and provides WONDERFUL support to the reception, nurse and vet teams, especially when dealing with CHALLENGING situations.
