Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full or Part Time available!
Looking to join an ‘outstanding' practice?
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our 13 vet and 20 strong nursing team, in the beautiful county of Wiltshire.
Harris, Hill & Gibbons Veterinary Group is a longstanding, successful four-practice veterinary group. All four of our practices were rated ‘outstanding' in our latest RCVS Client Services awards assessment. All our branches offer high tech in-house diagnostics enabling our nurses to assist with delivering rapid response treatment.
In addition to our day service we also have a dedicated night team on site, consisting of an OOH vet and an OOH nurse. This means no night shifts for our day-time nursing team!
At HHG, our qualified RVNs can expect to:
Our practice offers treatments many first opinion practices do not, such as orthopaedic surgery, endoscopy, ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery and chemotherapy.
To apply, you will have good general nursing and great customer service skills, be cheerful, friendly and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. We have both a full and part time role available, mainly based at our Trowbridge site, with cover across our branches as needed. We also ask you to participate in a fair share of our weekend rota.
Benefits
We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry - and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list at on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)
