Tawe (Sketty)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team here at Tawe Veterinary Group!
This is a full time role working between 37.5-40 hours per week. This will include Saturday shifts (approx. 1 in 5). We usually open for one morning during a 4-day bank holiday weekend. You will be working between our branches in Sketty and Gorseinon. This is a fixed term contract for a minimum of 6 months, covering maternity. Ideally you will live within 30-40 minutes of surgery and have access to your own transport.
This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.
We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.
The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
