Are you an empathetic, well organised, energetic and fun animal lover? Already working within a veterinary practice as a care assistant and looking for a new opportunity? Our friendly, fun and supportive team are looking for a Patient Care Assistant to join the practice at Beechwood.
You will work alongside a team of vets and nurses, ensuring that we continue to deliver excellent customer service and client care. This opportunity allows for a great work/life balance in a very rewarding field.
This is a full-time position between 30 and 40 hours a week over 5 days and 1:4 weekends, on a 12 month fixed term contract. This position is in line with National Minimum Wage plus 3% and includes benefits.

- Nursing care to patients.
- Preparation of emergency and operating facilities.
- General cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Running internal lab samples.
- Answering phone calls and dealing with incoming enquires along with troubleshooting emergencies.
- Assisting clients and taking payments.
- Providing a friendly, efficient and effective service to clients.
- This role will incorporate a 50 50 split of supporting the nursing team and front of house team.
