Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon | Northampton | Hospital Level Practice | No OOH

GVC are providing recruitment support to a large veterinary group who are actively recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive team based in Northampton.

The Practice:
    
Joining a well-equipped hospital level practice as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will be experienced and confident in both general surgery and medicine with exceptional communication skills.

The practice offers an excellent standard of care, with no OOH and nurses on site 24 hours a day - share of stable inpatient care only (less than once a week). You will compliment highly trained and experienced staff in all pet animal care including Laparoscopy, Orthopaedics, Soft tissue surgery, Ophthalmology, Digital Xray including Dental, Flexible Endoscopy, Ultrasonography including Cardiac, Dentistry including Endodontics, Dermatology and Rabbit medicine, working with monitoring equipment including MPMs, doppler BP, capnography etc and in-house laboratory.

Details of the role:

•    Salary of up to £70K (depending on experience) 
•    Certificates encouraged and funded
•    Permanent, full-time (part-time applications considered)
•    4-day week 10hrs a day, 1:4 Saturday mornings 5hr a day
•    5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays plus Birthday Leave
•    RCVS & VDS fees paid

To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the role by showing:
 
•    Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university recognised in the UK
•    Up to date CPD
•    Relevant language skills – English
•    Licenced to provide veterinary care in the UK – RCVS registered
•    Right to work in the UK
