The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Nurse who strives for clinical excellence to join us at our Winterbourne and Brimsham branches. These are two well-equipped practices with a friendly and forward-thinking team
This is a full-time RVN position but part-time applications are also considered, we can offer flexibility with the shift patterns to ensure a healthy work-life balance for you.
You would be joining a friendly and motivated team and this role would suit an experienced RVN who enjoys something different every day.
Salary for the role is up to £32,000 depending on experience and hours worked + Relocation allowance of up to £1,000 if required.
About Us
Both sites have all the capabilities of a much larger practice whilst enjoying the ethos of a smaller team. Equipment includes X-ray, separate dental X-ray equipment, ultrasound and advanced anaesthetic monitoring equipment.
Our team have the freedom to work up their cases and to do this the vets rely on the nursing team. You will be expected to be involved in all aspects of patient care, from nursing hospitalised day patients, theatre duties, laboratory work, assisting with complex surgical and medical procedures as well as running your own nurse clinics. You will also lead and develop the current nursing team which compromises of two RVN’s, a SVN and a care assistant
