Are you looking for a new job challenge which will play to your clinical strengths? Would you like to enjoy an interesting caseload while maintaining a great work life balance? Are you an enthusiastic team* player who enjoys helping offer the best service possible? If the answer is yes to these questions… we are the practice for you!

The successful applicant will be an experienced veterinary surgeon who holds or is working towards a post-graduate qualification in small animal surgery. You will join our supportive and engaged clinical team working alongside 2 highly experienced Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Surgery. Our practice offers the environment, caseload and all the equipment required to utilise your clinical skills, while giving you plenty of opportunity and time to develop yourself further. We promise you full financial support and paid CPD leave to enable you to pursue your surgical training to RCVS Advanced Practitioner Level.

We will enable you to practice a very high standard of patient care - our practice has sector-leading surgical equipment with DR and intra-operative CR radiography, Karl-Storz endosurgery, Aesculap surgical power systems and easy access to advanced imaging. We are a stand-alone practice (not in a retail park), within easy reach via road or train to Leeds and Manchester. We offer:
• A generous salary package - up to £75k depending on your qualifications and experience.
• A clear career path including realistic practice partnership/ownership prospects.
• All the benefits you'd expect from a major employer including pension, plus exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (including up to 30% off at Pets at Home)

This is a golden opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon with a specific interest in surgery to help further build our referral service while also maintaining our 1st opinion client base. We will consider part-time, flexible or full-time working (range 20-40 hours to include Saturdays 09:00 -12:00 on a 1:3 basis).
