Due to the practices continued growth, we have a great opportunity for a 2 nd Year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Highcroft Silva House Vets.

This is a full time role working 4x8 hour days and a day release for college every week plus 1:8 Saturdays and Sundays. Occasional cover at other branches may be required.

We are looking for an individual who possesses great communication skills, is passionate about promoting exceptional animal care and enjoys working in a team environment. Our Nursing team are incredibly well supported and we are encouraged to pursue our own areas of interest and develop our skills across all aspects of veterinary nursing. Experience and Qualifications needed:

Our ideal applicant will be reliable with a willingness to learn and to be able to work within a team. Previous experience in a veterinary environment is essential.

-Five GCSEs at grade C and above (or equivalent), which must include English language, maths and a science subject.

OR

-An animal nursing assistant (ANA) or veterinary care assistant (VCA) qualification, along with functional skills level two in application of number and communication.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
