Salary £50,000-£70,000 p/a (pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a medically-minded vet to join our enthusiastic Braid Vet hospital team in central Edinburgh!

Working primarily at the Mayfield Road hospital, your responsibilities will include hospital and in-patient treatment, emergency and critical care and medical work-ups, alongside some routine work. Confidence with ultrasonography, radiology and endoscopy will be required for the role; training or CPD can be provided if required.

  • 3 or 4 days per week (10.25h days)
  • 1 in 6 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with equal TOIL

 We can also offer:

  • 6.6 weeks of holiday per year
  • CPD allowance of £1750 per annum, with further qualifications supported
  • Health Shield – wide ranging contributions for health and wellbeing treatments – from dentistry to sports massage
  • RCVS Membership paid
  • Two other membership subscriptions (e.g. BVA, BSAVA)
  • VDS cover
  • Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Company sick pay (2 weeks at full pay, 4 weeks at half pay)

Please send your CV to Hans via the APPLY button or call  0131 6672478 for an informal discussion of the role.
