Career development opportunity for a Vet looking to take first steps into management or perhaps you are already an established leader looking for a new adventure? Our new Head Vet will benefit from working across three practices, 3 Mile Vet, AlbaVet and FirstVets Glasgow. Salary ranging up to £60k DOE.

Our role and who are we? You will work closely with the Practice Director and will support each other to lead the team and help achieve ongoing excellent clinical standards. We are a 13 Vet, 13 RVN team with 3 Patient Care Assistants and 10 receptionists all supporting our teams! We have a real focus on each other's progression and development and work to delivering gold standard care. We have dental x-ray and a cardiac Doppler, one of our Vets has a special interest in cardiology. We have another Vet working towards a certificate in anaesthesia. We work to 15 minute appointments with sufficient breaks for catch up time and work cases up well. Health & Wellbeing is so important to us, that much so we have a mental health first aider in each of our practices. We take part in our company's refresh scheme meaning weekly funded for hot drinks, cakes or a health option is also available!

We strive for a light hearted working atmosphere with plenty of humour! We are a close, supportive team and a work/life balance is important to us. We are surrounded by shops and cafes for lunchtime treats!

You will work 35 - 40 hours per week and will be rewarded with a salary of up to £60k pro rata, dependent on experience.
