About Us

Manor Veterinary Clinic has been established in Folkestone since 1965. By 2008 the practice had outgrown its location in the heart of Folkestone, and we made the decision to move the clinic to a purpose built one 1.5 miles away.

As a result, we have a stunning purpose build practice on the Kent coast with up-to-date facilities, to name a few, a new ultrasound machine, 2 x capnography, scopes and up to date lab equipment. We have a large car park so parking isn’t an issue for staff. The nurses proudly have their own nurse consulting room from which they currently run successful clinics. We are close to the motorway and Folkestone town centre.

About the Team and Culture

Come and meet us – we’d love to have the opportunity to show you our beautiful practice and meet our wonderful team.

We are an extremely supportive team and have 3.5 Veterinary Surgeons including our CD with many years’ experiences between them. We will support you with your chosen career path and would love to chat to you about what that might be. We have 6 Nurses: 5 RVN's, 1 student and a VCA. They have loads of experience and run their own consults. They are passionate about their work, and we encourage our nurses in their own individual interests giving time to do CPD and a yearly CPD allowance.

We have had our nurses take part in behaviour courses, feline nursing certificates, new graduate schemes, wound managements courses. We have 5 brilliant receptionists (3 of them have been with us forever!). They know most of the clients and have a great rapport with them and can therefore help support the building of new relationships between our wonderful clients and new team members. We have 1 practice manager who is happy to get involved when needed weather that be cleaning or holding patients during busy times. The practice reputation is built on the conscientious and caring service that it tries to give to clients and their pets at all times.

Our New Vet

Due to our experienced and supportive team, we are lucky enough to be open to all levels of experience. Whether you’ve recently qualified and registered or you’ve been practising for 3 plus years, we have a place for you at Manor Vets.
