Red Sector are happy to be working with one of our most cherished clients as they seek to grow their team again amidst some exciting practice developments. 45 minutes from Birmingham, 1.5 hours from Bristol, 2hours from London, based in a beautiful area of the country with plenty to do! The practice has recently undergone a huge refurbishment with the owner focusing on providing a good work/life balance, collaborative learning structure and fantastic structured support to allow people to progress and realise their career goals!

The location:

  • Medium sized town with good travel links to London , Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff 10 mins from the beautiful countryside Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds famous for picturesque villages, arts and crafts and antiques 30 minutes from Birmingham international airport

The Practice:

  • Reception area with separate Dog and Cat waiting areas. Cat area includes areas to place baskets off the floor and blankets to cover if cats are scared. 4 consulting rooms 2 operating theatres – 1 for routine surgeries and 1 for orthopaedic and complicated soft tissue surgeries K laser 3D x-ray Machine DR x-ray machine with Bucky table Separate dog, cat and isolation wards Oxygen kennel Incubator Endoscope Ultrasound Machine with dedicated ultrasound table Visiting Ultrasound Specialist Virtual Veterinary Specialist Support Monday-Friday Oxygen generator produces 16 litres/min Dedicated lab area including sedivue, digital microscope, procyte, catalyst, UA analyser, Vet connect Plus. Heated anaesthetic circuits Piped oxygen to all kennels, theatres, prep area, x-ray and 1 consult room Active scavenging Separate Utility area with Instrument washer/disinfector, Vacuum Autoclave, Washing Machine, Tumble dryer Intravenous fluid pumps Syringe Driver Colleague room with multimedia screen, dishwasher, air fryer, Nespresso coffee machine, chilled water dispenser Fun team building events

The Team:

  • Admin team – Practice Manager, Client Services Manager, 2 x Insurance Processor, 3 Client Care Advisors and Digital Practice advisor Nurses – 2 Trainee Nurses, 5 RVNs, Head RVN Vets – 4 vets and Joint Venture Partner/Owner

Rotas

New Graduate

  • 8 hour shifts including a half hour paid lunch break 1:2 weekends – training. Never Sole Charge. Always working alongside an experienced vet. After a year and completing RCVS GDP move onto 1:3 weekends CPD supported and encouraged. Great team discussions about cases. Use of in channel communications – sharing photos of cases etc. via Slack program

Experienced Vet

  • 8 hour shifts including a half hour paid lunch break 1:3 weekends Fully funded CPD encouraged and supported which includes certificates with a learning agreement. Admin time (prescriptions, research, and lab results) incorporated in your schedule. Dedicated ops day Weekly Journal club Ward round incorporated in your schedule
