GVC are providing recruitment support to an independent group who are actively recruiting for a Clinical Lead Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team based in the beautiful county of Dorset, famous for its stunning Jurassic Coast hosting many famous landforms and notorious outstanding holiday locations.

The Practice:
    
As an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will be joining a multiple branch town and country group with a long history and fantastic local reputation. With clinical freedom to develop the branch in line with these values with the support of the wider group, you will promote the ethos of priding yourself and the team on a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, led by Advanced Practitioners and approachable team leaders. 

You will discover vets with interests in medicine, cardiology, oncology, surgery, exotics, shelter medicine and forensic work, as well as hosting a rehabilitation and physiotherapy centre. You will be encouraged and supported to find your niche with their further qualification CPD program.

This fantastic new opportunity would be ideal for someone hoping to progress their career on a pathway towards Clinical Directorship. You will be a team player with management aspirations and high standards of clinical and client care. Previous management experience although desirable is not necessary as the practice has extensive resources to offer a high level of support to help you develop your career.
 
Details of the role:

•    Salary of £45,000 – £65,000 DOE (pro rata for part time)

Applicant requirements:
 
To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the role by showing:
 
•    Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university recognised in the UK
•    Up to date CPD
•    Relevant language skills – English
•    Licenced to provide veterinary care in the UK – RCVS registered
•    Right to work in the UK
