GVC are providing recruitment support to an independent group who are actively recruiting for a Senior Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established and friendly team based in the county of Dorset, famous for its stunning coastline, The Jurassic Coast with many famous landforms and notorious outstanding holiday locations.

The Practice:
    
As a Senior Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will be joining a proud and truly independent small animal veterinary group that runs three sites across the county, including a dedicated hydrotherapy unit offering post-operative rehabilitation through physio and hydrotherapy. The group prides itself on its real family feel environment and the ability to offer a wide range of services from 15 minute consultations to traditional in-house OOH treatment where necessary.

All surgeries are small and friendly, and their aim is to combine up-to-date facilities, with old-fashioned, personal service. You will join an experienced and dedicated team who are committed to providing the very best of care to their staff, clients and patients at all times.

Applicant requirements:
 
To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the role by showing:
 
•    Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university recognised in the UK
•    Up to date CPD
•    Relevant language skills – English
•    Licenced to provide veterinary care in the UK – RCVS registered
•    Right to work in the UK
