Red Sector  have had great success securing vets for this extremely supportive practice – perfect for veterinary surgeons with an interest in exotics!

Our clients  are a 16-vet mixed veterinary clinic (small animal, exotic, large animal- excluding horses) situated on the beautiful South Coast of England! The location is incredibly desirable with beaches that look like they don’t belong in the UK!

We are looking for someone to join the small animal team that is enthusiastic, works well in a forward thinking and hard-working team and is likely to enjoy living in one of the most beautiful places in the UK!

The practice is well equipped and has all the usual small animal toys (dental radiography, full in-house laboratory, endoscope, digital radiography, ultrasound, underwater treadmill) to help deal with the large medical and surgical caseload.

For the large animal side of things, they offer pregnancy diagnosis, run their own AI service and have recently started running a herd health scheme for local farmers, meaning they are more 'hands on' with clients. The large animal caseload is largely beef and sheep, with some small holdings of pigs, alpacas and llamas.

Our client covers the work for a couple of local petting zoos and have many exotic clients (largely 'smaller' exotics- ranging from African greys through to wallabies!). 

Out of hours (1 in 8) will be expected but fully supported (they always have a small animal and large animal vet on call alongside a nurse).

You will be able to benefit from a four day 'working week', which means you will have a day off Monday-Friday allowing you to enjoy the local area and have a healthy work/life balance.
