We are a growing well organized first opinion practice with a varied caseload. We have an experienced, supportive team who aim to provide the best care for our patients and best client experience from phone call to consult.

We're conveniently situated on Parsonage Way Retail Park which allows unlimited free parking, is located not far from the A580 known as the East Lancs Road which was the UK's first purpose built intercity highway connecting Liverpool to Manchester and East Lancashire, thus giving easy access to both cities for shopping and nightlife, as well as lots of countryside destinations including the Pennines and the Lake District, via the North West's motorway network.

Our team currently consist of 2 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 2 Client Care Advisors and the Practice Manager who oversees the day to day running of the practice and supports all the team. We are currently using Locum Vet cover but will also be recruiting for a second Vet.

Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including Digital x-ray, ultrasound, blood machines and tonometry. We are RCVS accredited, and we also have a separate cat consulting room and hold the ISFM silver cat friendly award and are working towards our RWAF accreditation. We are also keen to learn new things off you, if you have previously done CPD, we want to hear all about it!

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon join our team and become the practice clinical lead. The role would suit someone who is keen to be both a practicing Vet but also keen to develop and support new talent, as well as supporting with the management of the practice. We are also open to new ideas within the practice to help create new protocols around improving patient care.

We are offering a full-time position working 40 hours per week including 1 in 3 weekends, and we are flexible with the shifts.
