Small animal, first opinion practice in Cirencester is seeking a Deputy Head Vet Nurse to join their team. With no OOHs and a generous salary of up to £28,000!

This lovely bright and airy practice located in the beautiful town of Cirencester, is looking to welcome a new Deputy Head Nurse to their busy and friendly team. Made up of 3 Vets, 3 Nurses and a team of support staff, this small animal team is seeking someone searching for the next step in their career with opportunities for a varied and interesting role.

The practice itself is well equipped and has a variety of facilities from both dental and digital x-ray, in-house labs, blood pressure monitors and much more. The main responsibilities in this role, as well as supporting the Head Vet nurse will be assisting anaesthetics, performing x-rays, carrying out nurse clinics and in-patient care, taking bloods and inserting catheters. This well rounded role would be perfect for any RVN who is looking for career development and the opportunity to work alongside a friendly, well experienced team.

Key Duties

  • 4 Day week, with no OOHs or night calls
  • 9am -6pm Working day
  • 1-4 Saturday's with an early finish

Package and Benefits

  • £25,000-£28,000 Depending on experience

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Registered to work as a Veterinary Nurse on the RCVS
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • 1 Years experience minimum as an RVN
