Are you a Vet with an interest in Emergency & Critical Care? Would you like access to an interesting caseload?

Due to new practices joining our OOH service and an increase in caseload, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Small Animal Vet to join our growing team at our MiNightVet clinic in Hillsborough, Co Down.

Our MiNightVet service complements our fantastic day team within our Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital. You will help provide the out of hours service for a number of local first opinion member practices in the area, as well as see a variety of Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists inpatients in addition to Cromlyn House inpatients.

We pride ourselves on high standards of care and are looking for someone who is passionate about working to these same values. We are a fully equipped RCVS approved Veterinary Hospital.

The Team: You will enjoy working with an energetic, motivated and experienced team of fellow Vets, Nurses and Support Staff providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard to a variety of interesting cases involving both emergency patients and in-patients

Applicant requirements: This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 2+ years' experience, who is capable and confident of working sole charge alongside a small clinical team. You will have surgical experience in routine and emergency procedures and possess good communication skills. You will have a team player mentality and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.

Working Hours: Every 2nd weekend, Saturday and Sunday 7.30am to 7.30pm (there may be flexibility with this, depending on number of successful candidates). There will be a requirement to cover 2 Bank Holiday days per year in this role.
