Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse

 

Location: Cumbernauld, Scotland

 

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, 1:4 Saturday AM 8:30am -1pm, no OOH’s, no Sundays

 

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. £23-30k per annum

The role is located in Scotland’s central belt, in the historic county of Dunbartonshire, steeped in history, a short drive to the highlands and boosts the nearby bright lights of the vibrant city of Glasgow.

 

They are now recruiting for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their growing, wonderful supportive team with immediate effect, with opportunities for anyone looking to enhance their career.

 

 

 

 

 

The Role:

 

 

 

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who holds the same values as the team.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. Newly qualified will be considered.

 

 

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, with weekends on rota, currently 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Bank holidays are worked apart from Christmas Day and New Years day. 40 hours are worked over 5 days, either 8am-4pm, or 11:30am-7:30pm again on rota.

 

 

 

A qualified RVN should promote good staff morale and positive culture, whilst leading by example, motivating the team towards the common goal of achieving excellence across clinical nursing standards.

 

 

 

The person needs to be hard working, have a strong work ethic and be a good team player, the practice is a lively and engaging place to work, therefore an engaging and flexible approach is required.

 

 

 

Must haves:

 

  • RCVS registered and qualified Possess the right to work in the UK Excellent communication skills Be a team player

 

 

About the practice:

 

 

 

They are a small, family-friendly practice which has been providing excellent pet care for sick and injured animals for more than 25 years.

 

The team is made up of 2 Vets, 2 RVNS, 4 receptionist and 1 SVN.

 

They strive to develop trusting relationships with clients, and as such, have a loyal client base, held for many years.

 

Holding RCVS approved training status they welcome many students, throughout many different Scottish colleges, offering support, development and coaching for the future generations.
