Pet Doctors Isle of Wight Hub - New Graduate Programme – Recent Graduate Small Animal Vet

Exciting opportunity to work in a stunning coastal location and with the opportunity to work in a Hospital! We can also provide accommodation and the positions may suit a couple of friends wanting to live and work together!

Here at Pet Doctors Isle of Wight HUB we have 2 exciting opportunities for Recent Graduate Vets to join our team on a permanent basis. We have the only RCVS accredited Hospital on the Isle of Wight allowing you to work on a diverse range of emergency and critical cases. Our hospital is supported by our 4 branches and is fully equipped with CT scanner, 6 anaesthetic stations, Laparoscopic kit, ECG, ultrasound, Digital X-ray, fibre optic endoscopes and a dental suite allowing our staff to consistently deliver high quality diagnostic and surgical patient care. You will work at both the Hospital and branch practices. We have a dedicated team of 14 vets, 13 nurses and 13 receptionists who as a team provide an excellent support network and pride themselves in delivering clinical excellence to all. We also value the success and development of our staff and fully support and encourage a diverse range of CPD opportunities aimed at developing the teams clinical interests including certificates with currently 3 colleagues studying towards cert in Medicine and Surgery. You will also be supported by a dedicated mentor.

In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

  • Salary of £32,000 which increases at the end of year 1 and at the end of year 2
