Having recently taken on the ownership of Dorchester Vets4Pets, Jordan and Lauren are now looking for another vet colleague to join our growing team!

The practice is purpose built with some great facilities including operating theatre, 2 dedicated consult rooms, a nurse consult room/x-ray room, as well as all the kit you'd expect from a solid GP practice including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab equipment, full multi-parameter monitoring equipment and other essentials. We're also happy to discuss investing in additional equipment in the future, depending on your areas of interest.

You'll be joining us at a very exciting time, where our brilliant team are forging new ideas for developing the practice further and providing the best levels of service and care we can, to our loyal and growing client base.
You'll be working alongside Jordan our Clinical Lead and Practice Owner, as well as a four strong, experienced, and forward-thinking nursing team including Lauren, RVN, Practice Manager and Owner and three incredible receptionists.
Jordan qualified from Liverpool in 2017 and as well as developing his surgical and medicine skills, has since developed a keen interest in exotics and is currently completing a Certificate in Advance Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine.

As a new team, we're looking for a vet with great communication skills who will be confident with routine neutering, procedures and emergency and critical care. You'll need to be confident with periods of sole charge through the week and as part of a balanced weekend rota but there are no out of hours and we will provide as much flexibility with working hours as possible to find the work-life balance that suits you.

Our days are structured well with 15-minute consults as standard and time taken for lunch and admin, factored into the day. We meet regularly as a team every 4 to 6 weeks with an open and flexible approach the rest of the time.
