About us:
Vets4Pets in Clowne near Chesterfield, Derbyshire is a small newly opened practice still building a great client base. We have all the opportunity's of working with great corporate company with the individuality of a local practice. All of our staff live locally and are very much valued and known throughout the village.

Clowne is a small village on the outskirts of the peak district, we are around 10 minute drive from the historic Bolsover castle and 30 minute drive from Chatsworth house. We are surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor days out. If you are more of a thrill seeker we are 30 minutes away from one of the best known theme parks, Alton Towers!!

Within our local area we have large shopping stores Tesco and Aldi as well as individual owned family businesses within our high street. We are surrounded by city's and towns such as Sheffield, Derby, Mansfield and Chesterfield are all within a 20 minute drive. Public travel to Chesterfield, Mansfield, Sheffield and Derby are all easy accessible.

Javier Alonso, Veterinary Surgeon & Practice Partner qualified in Spain in 2002. Since then he has worked in all branches of the Veterinary Surgeon profession: from farm animals and public health, to food industry and jobs at emergency clinics.

Wendy Tindall, Practice manager/Head nurse has over 12 year`s experience within the vet group and loves all aspects of nursing. As a nurse she enjoys fulfilling the nursing role with all the challenges it brings.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of 1 vet, 2 nurses and 2 Receptionists. We are looking for someone who is confident with routine surgeries and consulting, is friendly and enthusiastic, and with strong communication skills. The practice provides full support and encouragement and allows clinical freedom for continued personal growth and development.

Hours are negotiable with weekends on a rota basis, but no OOH requirement. Pay scale dependant on experience.
