We are growing our succesful practice here at Bangor Vets4Pets and have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team!
In addition to a rewarding role in a superb location, you can also expect to receive.
The role is full time, but part time can also be considered for the right candidate and hours can also be covered in a four-day week if preferred. We work a set rota, with no out of hours. Flexibility is appreciated when it comes to holidays or weekend swaps, and we all work well together in this aspect.
Ideally, you will be an experienced vet with over 2 years + experience in a small animal environment however, we understand that everyone is at different stages in their veterinary careers, so we are happy to consider new graduates as well.
You will be passionate about providing an excellent service and working as part of a highly-skilled team. We have established a lovely, loyal client-base and enjoy an interesting and varied caseload Enthusiasm and energy are a must, as is a willingness to communicate with colleagues and clients, in the best interests of our patients.
Our Partner, Stephen McLean, qualified from University College Dublin in 2001 and has a Certificate in ophthalmology and in 2015 was awarded Royal College Advanced Practitioner status in ophthalmology. Stephen leads a friendly team of 3 Vets, 3 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and 4 receptionists. The team is exceptionally close with everyone regularly mucking in to help each other out, although we are a fast paced and busy practice, we make sure to make time to socialise together too.
We are based close to Bangor's town centre, with easy commuting options to Belfast by train or car, and beautiful coastal walks nearby.
