Position: Senior Clinician in Equine Internal Medicine
The Large Animal department at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine- Veterinary Teaching Hospital is opening a permanent or a locum position for an internal medicine equine clinician (ECEIM/ACVIM Diplomate, a board eligible candidate or an experienced clinician with interest in equine internal medicine). Our clinic is an equine referral center, affiliated with the Hebrew University, located next to Tel Aviv, Israel.
The hospital's caseload includes a variety of internal medicine cases, including intensive emergency cases, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, respiratory cases, hematology, infectious diseases, intense neonatology (150 neonatal foals annually) and more. The clinic is staffed with a tightly collaborative team of veterinary Diplomates (ACVIM/ECEIM, ACVS/ECVS), residents, interns, students and technicians.
The clinic has two operating theaters, an isolation unit, a diagnostic laboratory services, arthroscopy & laparoscopy capabilities, LASER equipment, modern imaging equipment including: digital radiography and ultrasonography, MRI and CT-scan, endoscopy, dynamic endoscopy, gastroscopy, and more.
We are looking for a locum or permanent position- both will be welcomed. There is a possibility to practice research as well.
