Job Details

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced RVN looking for an exciting next step in their career. With a salary of up to £35,000 and no OOHs!

Working alongside a close-knit team of 3 Vets and various support staff, this practice is seeking a Head Nurse to lead and shape the team. The ideal candidate for this position would have previous senior RVN experience and ideally would also have a clinical coach qualification, although this is not essential as the practice will offer training.

With a variety of duties from training and supporting other team members as well as clinical duties such as assisting in surgery, nurse consults and inpatient care. This practice sees a variety of cases and this position will use all of your experience and nursing skills.

In return for all of your hard work the practice will offer a generous salary of up to £35,000, £600 CPD allowance as well as a fantastic work-life balance!

Key Duties

  • Leading the team
  • Supporting and training staff
  • Ensuring the highest level of care is given to all patients
  • Nurse clinics
  • Assisting with high level surgery
  • Inpatient care

This role is a full time position over 40 hours per week, with only 1 in 3 Saturdays and no OOH or on call responsibilities.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • Registered on the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Previous senior nurse or head nurse experience
  • Clinical Coach qualification ideal but not essential
