Mixed Veterinary Surgeon and Small Animal Veterinary,
Cameron and Greig Vets, a busy, independent mixed practice in central Scotland, are looking for two new vets:
One MIXED vet at our main Milnathort site, 1-in-8 OOH rota
One SMALL ANIMAL vet at our Tillicoultry branch, no OOHs
Mixed Role:
Our work is generally split 65% small animal and 35% large animal and covers Perth and Kinross, Fife and Clackmannanshire.
The large animal work involves a good amount of progressive dairy work, beef and sheep, with a smaller amount of first opinion equine work.
On the small animal side, we are well equipped with digital DR x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, imagyst cytology interpretation and wide range of in- house lab options.
Although mixed the role has scope for focusing on particular areas of interest and involves a 1-in-8 OOH rota with considerable time off in lieu. We are actively involved with our farmers and have all the necessary equipment to do a good job.
Small Animal Role:
Our Tillicoultry branch is well equipped and full case work ups are encouraged on site, with the back-up of our main Milnathort surgery.
The role would involve no OOH work.
Bit About Us:
We are a 12 vet proudly independent practice with a good working environment, plenty of support, a good social scene and monthly breakfast clinical clubs.
We are in a fantastic semi-rural location but under an hour away from the bright lights of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Career progression is encouraged and we have a number of vets currently completing certificates.
