About Us

Our Bloxwich practice is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and development, and as result, we have a fantastic new opportunity available for a confident and proactive GP Vet to join the team.

Bloxwich is a growing practice with great facilities including 3 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and access to endoscope if needed. Our Vet team of 4 consists of 3 team members who have been qualified from 4-9 years, and 1 new graduate who joined us last year on our academy programme. We hold the ISFM silver award for cat care and the IVC Evidensia patient safety award.

About the Team and Culture

One of the best parts of working at Bloxwich is the close knit, enthusiastic team. We are all food lovers and have been known to demolish a tin of quality street within minutes. We love to bond over our shared love of food with regular meals out together, lunch and learns and snack-fuelled wellbeing afternoons. When not eating/laughing/working fabulously together – you’ll likely find us in an Alexa dance off, practising our moves for the dancefloor at our upcoming all expenses paid annual company get together/night away in Manchester!

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an RCVS Veterinary Surgeon with competence in all routine medical and surgical procedures. Specific interests are welcomed and encouraged, so just let us know where your passions lie. We would love another passionate, experienced vet to bring their own unique skills and ideas for a happy team dynamic. You will be passionate about providing gold-standard patient care to our clients and their pets.

We would consider a consulting bias if someone was keen to focus on that area rather than surgery.
