Vets4Pets Farnborough are looking for a friendly Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy and successful practice. We can consider new graduates and experienced candidates for this position. We offer very generous CPD which is strongly encouraged, supported and fully funded.
The practice opened in 2011 and, over the last 9 years, has built a strong and loyal client base with an excellent reputation in the local area. We even have one of our clients bringing us fruit and veg!
As part of this 3-4 vet practice you will be joining a welcoming and experienced team of 3 RVN's, supported by a dedicated team of SVN's,
VCA's and receptionists. The practice believes strongly in investing in people, so would be keen to support the right candidate with professional development.
As a purpose built small animal practice, the surgery is equipped with modern surgical and diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx catalyst analyser, diathermy, lactate analyser and Cardiopet ECG among other equipment.
The practice also recently invested in a refurbishment of their waiting area to improve their patient and client experience.
Farnborough is situated in North East Hampshire near the boundary with Surrey. It is located 34 miles (55 km) south west of London which is easily accessible by car or train and 16 miles (26 km) east of Basingstoke. Farnborough is served by three train stations giving access into London, and to the South including directly to Gatwick Airport for easy access to Europe and further afield.
Being situated near to the South Downs National Park with its large
rural areas and only an hour from the south coast, makes this an ideal location for those wishing to combine urban convenience with rural and coastal access.
Applicants will be experienced, confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and special interests will be welcomed and supported. The practice offers clinical freedom and the opportunity to work with a varied and loyal client base, working up cases to a high standard.
Due to the capabilities within the team and the age of the practice, their caseload is varied with no two days being the same! The new Vet will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the team.
This is a Full or Part Time role with a weekend rota rota of 1 in 3, with some sole charge.
In return for your hard work, the practice offers:
- Competitive salary; up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
- Generous CPD

- Exclusive colleague rewards including discounts with High Street stores and restaurants
