Registered Veterinary Nurse, Crieff Vets, Crieff, Perth and Kinross

The Role

Do you care about patients and their people?

Do you want to balance your work and your home life with a fab team of people around you?

Then come and join our nursing team at Crieff Vets.

We value your work-life balance so we outsource our OOH and you will only need to do 1 in every 4 Saturday mornings (8:30 am – 12 pm). Your working week can be flexible to fit around your life, we’re open 8 am to 7 pm and can consider full-time, part-time & flexible hours.

Working within a hands-on progressive 1st opinion practice with a close-knit team of vets, RVN’s, ACA’s, receptionists & dedicated cleaners means you can utilise your nursing skills and be the nurse you trained to be. Whilst we don’t currently have a head nurse (it’s just not the way our team rolls), there is huge scope here for the right person to lead and develop their career into a coaching and leadership position.

The salary is up to £30,000 negotiable D.O.E & relocation allowance of up to £5,000!

About the Team and Culture

Our small animal practice is located in a beautiful market town right on the edge of the Scottish Highlands. You can be in the mountain wilds in half an hour or in Perth or Stirling at the same time. Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hour away if you need a city fix.

Our clinical standards are excellent, and we offer keyhole surgery as well as all your routine 1st opinion caseloads. We have multiparameter monitoring, ultrasound, digital radiography, "bear huggers" and walk-in kennel facilities. Should you have a passion for specific areas of nursing we will fully encourage and support you to develop your skill set, including schedule 3 procedures.

Applicant Requirements

Ideally, you will be an experienced nurse, but we can consider newly qualified nurses as we have a very supportive team. This role will allow you to grow your skills and experience and utilise your expertise in a proactive, friendly, and engaging clinic, must be RCVS registered

Because our Employee’s Matter
