Job Details

Our client in Manchester have an existing referral practice.  They are looking to add a brand new Ophthalmology referral service and are looking for a residency trained or board certified Ophthalmologist to head this function up.  As this is a brand new service the incoming specialist would be involved form the ground up in terms of planning an executing this project and would d be given full autonomy.  This is great opportunity for an ambitious Ophthalmologist to stamp their own mark on a brand new service.

As the service is new, no equipment has yet been purchased, this would be organised with the incoming vet.  However, this practice is equipped up to MRI level to give candidates an idea of potential equipment levels.

Depending on the professional and personal interests of the incoming ophthalmologist, partnership is something that could also be discussed in the future.

The package and rota for this role is negotiable but expect remuneration to be in the £90,000 - £100,000 with generous additional benefits.
