The Role

Wards Veterinary Centre, Elgin has an exciting opportunity for a small animal vet to join their team! No two days are the same in our busy practice and you will carry out a broad caseload of consults and a variety of surgeries! We encourage our staff to work up their own cases, but support is always available when required.

Working on various caseloads ranging from internal medicine cases, endocrinology, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery cases are generally soft tissue but we are happy with eye procedures that do not require an operating microscope, we do not do fracture repairs and cruciate surgery for example as we have good ortho surgeons nearby. Dentals are commonly undertaken with extractions being surgical and non surgical, we have dental x rays available too. If you have a desire to further your career by studying for a certificate we would support you through this.
