Job Details

Whilst this role is initially a maternity cover role, it his highly anticipated that a permanent position will be available for the right candidate, most likely in this hospital or a local branch.

With a team of 8 vets there is very little requirement for sole charge in this role but candidates must be happy with some routine surgeries and medical cases.  The expectation is that candidates will have a minimum of 12 months experience.  For those candidates with certificates or part way through certificates will also be welcome to apply.  Should the role become permanent, our client will be happy to fund certificate studies.

The practice is very well equipped and boasts and exhaustive list of equipment, including, but not limited to:

  • Endoscopy
  • Keyhole surgery
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Orthopaedic theatre
  • CT
  • Digital x-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Full inhouse labs
  • ECG

The practice operates a 4 day week with a share of weekends.

  • Salary £42-70k depending upon experience
  • 5 Weeks holiday
  • £1500 cpd plus time off to study
  • Various wellbeing incentives and softer benefits.
