Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse - Severn Edge Vets, Much Wenlock

We have a fantastic opportunity for an RVN to join our team at Severn Edge Vets, Much Wenlock, as Senior Nurse on a 9-12 month maternity cover contract.

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse with good communication skills, a genuine dedication to animal care and loads of initiative. As Senior Nurse your role will include both clinical and managerial duties and responsibilities, the role would be an excellent opportunity for development and progression for a qualified nurse looking to progress.

This role will involve:

• Working closely with the Branch Manager, Practice Manager and Head Vet for the day to day running of the branch
• Responsible and accountable for leading the nursing team
• Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all CVS services in line with the scope and quality required by CVS and for ensuring customer culture
• Responsible and accountable for all aspects of nursing team management; including recruitment, selection, development, absence reporting and monitoring
• To undertake all aspects of the RVN role

This is a full-time role of 4 days per week plus 1 in 4 Saturdays. We can also consider part-time hours worked over 4-5 days, if preferred.

Salary is dependent on experience (pro rata).
