Veterinary Surgeon - Hollygate Veterinary Clinic

The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Hollygate Veterinary Clinic. We are going through a period of growth and this role would provide an exciting challenge, giving you the chance to implement new initiatives and ideas. You will have responsibilities in first opinion small animal medicine and surgery.

 This is a full-time role working 8-hour shifts 5 days per week between 8:30 am and 7:15 pm, with 1:4 Saturday mornings (3 hours). No out of hour requirements. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.

The salary for this role is up to £63,000 depending on experience.

About Us

Hollygate Veterinary Clinic is a hardworking and progressive, small animal, first-opinion veterinary practice covering the Carryduff area, east of Belfast. Our modern, well-equipped practice specialising in the treatment of small animals was established in 2002 and later became the branch practice of Earlswood Veterinary which is located in East Belfast. Our facilities include an operating theatre, X-Ray, dental X-Ray, ultrasound, and full in-house laboratory. Hollygate Veterinary Clinic is an approved member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme.

About the Team and Culture

By far the best part about our practice is our fantastic team! The successful candidate will join our 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants and 1 receptionist.

Our ideal candidate will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, positive, and organised with good communication skills. You will be a supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client-focused approach.
