Veterinary Surgeon - Full or Part Time - Leyland Vets4Pets

Leyland Vets4Pets is owned and run by JVP Andrew Nash who is a graduate from Nottingham and has 10 years’ experience in Small Animal Practice. Andrew took over the practice in 2016 and is supported by a team of 4 Vets, 4 RVNs and non-clinical staff, who enable the Vets to focus on their roles of consults and surgery. 

The team are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team to provide a service to their growing client base in Leyland.

Due to the current dynamics of the team, they are open to hear from Vets who are at all stages of their career, whether you have just recently graduated and are looking for a way into the industry, or if you have a vast amount of experience that you can pass onto other team members. The practice work on a 15-minute consult diary with fixed down time of 3 hours per working day to allow for paperwork to be completed. 

Leyland is situated in the North-West of England, in Lancashire, just south of Preston and near to the M6, which makes it perfect for commuting routes. It is located an hour north of Manchester (including the International Airport) and Liverpool and then an hour south of the Lake District, which makes it perfect for exploring on your days off. 

Andrew is flexible around the working hours as he can accommodate either part or full time working in the region of 20-40 hours per week. There is also no OOH or sole charge requirement, and Saturdays would be on a 1 in 4 rota basis. 

The practice is purpose built with in house ultrasound, radiography, IDEXX laboratory and use of peripatetic services to supplement orthopaedic, soft tissue surgery, cardiology and internal medicine caseloads.

The practice is able to offer a salary in the range of £35k-£50k which is dependent on your experience level.
