The Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic vet to join the team at our beautiful, purpose-built Hospital in Quarrington. As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice and will be competent in clinical examination and working as part of the wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively in building trusting relationships with your colleagues.

You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Salary & Benefits

Salary package up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience, to include:

  • - 5 weeks' annual leave (FTE)
  • - 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

Branch:

Medivet Quarrington is a well-established practice with an excellent client base and experienced team and will be our dedicated 24-hour centre with its own night team. A purpose-built hospital with five consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards and lovely operating theatres. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including ECG, In-house laboratory, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dentistry equipment and Ultrasound. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of day and, in the near future, night staff. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and Vets training on our Graduate Support Programme.
