About us:

Medivet Greenwich is a 5-vet team, supported by 3 RVNs (soon to be 4) 2 SVNs, a Patient Care Assistant, and 2 Receptionists.

Our fantastic Head Veterinary Nurse has been with Medivet for more than 19 years and has strengths of organisation and management of the team.

Our Branch Partners, Antonio and Vitor have lots of experience and different areas of interest, with Antonio holding certificates in Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging. 

Greenwich is a well-equipped practice with includes an in-house lab and ultrasound, a separate cat, and a small animal waiting area between our two consulting rooms. We also have a scan/dental room away from our prep room and theatre, with isolation areas if required.

The role:

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Medivet Greenwich. 

We are a very busy clinic with 2 vets consulting at one time and 1-2 vets allocated to surgeries and inpatients for the day. 

Our caseload can be very high, so our ideal candidate will thrive in a busy fast-paced environment. We perform lots of scans and use all the services offered by VVS.

Someone who is interested in surgery and imaging would be greatly benefited within our team but is not essential. 

Full-time salary package up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience to include:

• - 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
• - 4-day working week with 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends

Located in wonderful Greenwich, a unique London riverside setting with great museums and maritime history as well as beautiful parkland, bustling markets, and a village vibe.

The practice is situated near to the Thameslink, DRL, and southeastern train lines, with business permits available for nearby parking bays.
