Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

GVC are providing recruitment support to an outstanding forward thinking veterinary hospital based in a lovely area of Surrey who are actively recruiting for a Vet Surgeon to join their supportive and friendly team.

The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 1 year experience to join a rewarding environment, that boasts clinical freedom within a team willing to help develop your career further. The practice has all the great and up to date equipment you would expect in an evolving and very modern small animal hospital which have an enthusiastic team already in place. 

The hospital facilities include a CT, 3 theatres, dental suite, and water treadmill.  
A good work-life balance is extremely important to the practice are able to accommodate a variety of working hours and shift patterns, including full-time, part-time, or weekend only working.

Details of the role:

• Permanent full-time position – flexible working considered
• 4 day per week – No OOHs
• Open to locum placements
• Ranging between £35,000 to £55,000
• Employee benefits including excellent remuneration packages, relocation support and accommodation up to 3 months
• CPD allowance and fully funded post graduate certificates
• Paid overtime or time off in lieu
• Able to develop and hone your own clinical skills and special interests

• Relevant veterinary qualification from an accredited university recognized by the RCVS
• Up to date CPD
• Relevant language skills - English

• Take ownership of their work, and offer solutions to problems encountered
