We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Medivet Dorchester 24h

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

This is a full time permanent position, you will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends which are incorporated into the 4-day working week.

Branch:

Medivet Dorchester is a busy 24-hour small animal hospital with it's own night Vet and Nursing team.  Not only does it provide out-of-hours cover for it's own clients, it is fed into by other local Medivet branches and other local independent clinics.  It offers a wide range of complex diagnostic equipment and treatment options including CT scanners and dental x-rays (coming very soon), endoscopy, ultrasound and laparoscopic equipment.

We are fortunate to have a lovely client base who are very willing to go the extra mile when it comes to their pets. 

The practice is situated in the lovely Dorset countryside close to popular tourist beauty spots, beaches, and coastal towns along the stunning Jurassic coast.
