The successful candidate will be a good communicator, a team player and have a positive pro-active attitude. 

You need to be comfortable with working 4 days a  week with a couple of days  sole charge, whilst being fully supported by the rest of the local Medivet region and the main centre down the road in Sutton. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys surgery and pro actively working up cases.  

Salary & Benefits:

- A competitive package of up to £65,000 per annum  (depending on experience), which includes accommodation and vehicle allowances

- £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days’ CPD leave per annum and in-house CPD training

Skills and experience:

You must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS. You should be a confident working sole charge.

We are looking for a vet with at least two years experience (UK or equivalent), who is passionate about delivering outstanding care to their patients and clients. 

An interest in surgery is preferable. 

Branch:

The practice is based in Morden, South London. It is well equipped with all first opinion toys such as an ultrasound machine, X-ray, Dental X-ray, and Endoscope. 

The practice benefits from a varied caseload and a loyal client base. The Medivet 24 Hour main centre in Sutton, with a dedicated night team, provides out-of-hours care for all of our patients and also provides you the opportunity to continue learning - with dedicated orthopedic/ST surgeons and internal medics to assist you with your cases.
