The role:

Medivet Streatham are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy hospital.

The practice is well known in South London; it has an extremely loyal client following and a certificate holder in surgery who is also a keen cardiologist. The role will provide the successful candidate with a wide range of cases and a lovely working environment. You should have at least 3 years of UK veterinary experience and should be confident working as a senior veterinary surgeon. 

The suitable candidate will be a dynamic individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients quickly. The successful candidate will be expected to be confident in all aspects of routine surgery, first opinion consulting and medical cases.

The role allows for a good work life balance, working 4 days a week. 

Salary & Benefits:

A competitive package of up to £65,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

- 5 weeks' annual leave (FTE)
- 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

The practice is located in bustling Streatham, within easy reach of Streatham Common, Streatham Common station and all the lovely cafes in the area. It is easily located for access into central London or out into leafy Surrey.
