The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our teams at Medivet Southgate and Enfield Great Cambridge Road.

Southgate and Enfield Great Cambridge Road are part of the Enfield region within Medivet and works closely with our Enfield 24 hour hospital. Our 24 hour hospital provides the out of hours and in-patient care for our practices.

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and are confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries. The role will involve consulting, surgery as well as taking part in the on-call rota - average 2-3 weeks on-call per year.

The role is full time working 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 Saturdays and Sundays

  • -Very competitive salary dependent on experience
  • -£10,200 accommodation allowance per annum (FTE)
  • -Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum (FTE)
  • -£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum (FTE)
  • -VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
  • -5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum (FTE)

Branch:

Both Southgate and Enfield Great Cambridge Road are Lead Vet-led branches. They are well equipped with in-house haematology and biochemistry machines, digital x-rays, dentistry, separate theatres, and easy access to ultrasound including VVS, CT, MRI, and radioiodine treatment at our 24-hour hospitals at Enfield, Hendon, and Watford.
