Experienced or New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon - Springfield Veterinary Group

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vet to join our 100% small animal practice in South Yorkshire. Springfield Veterinary Group has a 24-hour, tier 3 hospital in Rotherham and five branches across Rotherham and Sheffield. Our hospital has a purpose built CT facility. Within the group, we have five Advanced Practitioners and take local referrals in surgery, medicine, cardiology and ophthalmology, as well as running an autonomous night service.

This opportunity is based at our Crystal Peaks surgery, which is adjacent to the Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre in Beighton, southeast Sheffield but occasional working at our other two branches within the Sheffield hub which are both within a 3 mile radius. Our branch has a friendly team of five vets, six nurses, an ANA and five receptionists. It is a purpose built first opinion practice with the usual toys (in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope), but our greatest asset is the wonderful people we work with. We are also fortunate to have fantastic back up from our colleagues within the larger group who are very generous with support and advice when needed.

This is a permanent full time position, although we are happy to consider a shorter working week as we want everyone to be happy with their work/life balance. The work pattern also includes one weekend day every four weeks (no night duties) and approximately one Bank Holiday per year.
