An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Year 3 SVN to join our team in Prescot. 

Joining our professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listening and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCAs and student nurses and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

Most importantly, you’ll share our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive showing your passion and professionalism for working as one team to deliver exceptional care.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 for qualified RVN plus:

£750 CPD allowance and CPD leave

5 weeks' holiday plus bank holidays

Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay

Branch:

Medivet Prescot is a busy two vet practice led by experienced Vet Johann and Head Nurse Vicki who is also a Clinical Coach. 

The team also has part-time Client Care Assistant Lorraine, Patient Care Assistant Lauren and SVN Anna.

 Prescot is located in a nice residential area with parking available at the front of the building and is 15 minutes from the main hospital. The facilities include x-ray, ultrasound, theatre, and a kennel room.
