Ashfield Veterinary Surgery are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team in the picturesque Derwent Valley.

We are 6 miles from historic Durham City and 20 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and are only minutes away from stunning countryside. We have recently moved into a brand-new site, so this is a very exciting time to join us! Our brand-new practice has 3 consult rooms, 1 nurse/cat consult room, separate cat and dog waiting areas, in house pharmacy and state of the art prep room and theatre.

We are looking for a confident RVN to join our highly skilled and friendly team. Apart from being a confident nurse, you will be able to deliver exceptional customer care/service to all our clients and their pets. Schedule 3 procedures are also encouraged, giving you the opportunity to be the Nurse that you trained to be.

Ideally, we are looking for cover 3 days per week 8.30am – 6.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 8.30am – 12.30pm, although we can be flexible on this. This is an interesting and varied nursing position and you will be joining a small and friendly team, who are passionate about animal care.
