So if you're looking for part-time, full-time, flexi-time, term-time, reduced hours, school hours or even annualised hours (although we do NOT require Out-of-Hours) we're certainly one to consider.

If you're looking for a consult-only role, we can do that too.

And there are probably permutations or options that we've not tried yet – but if you're the right person for us, we'll move mountains to offer a working pattern that shows how much we value you.

In return we can offer a salary of up to £65,000, dependant on experience, and a benefits package that is comprehensive and includes access to KnowledgeHub – our amazing (and unique!) learning and development tool. Oh, and we'll also sort out and pay any outstanding certificate fees too!

Gourley Veterinary Surgeons Is a well-established, multi-site, 1 st opinion, RCVS Accredited, SA practice, based in and around Tameside and Manchester. The main site in Ashton-Under-Lyne is close to tram, bus and train stations and has recently undergonea full refurbishment, and is looking amazing!

The team includes Certificate-Holders in Small Animal Surgery and Ophthalmology and benefit from a large, and experienced, nursing and clinical support team – so we'd happily take a recent graduate (look at our career site for more info about our programme and residential camps). The practices also benefit from their own Endoscopy, Ultrasound, Dental & Digital X-ray machines.

For those from further afield that are wondering about the area – did we mention the relocation allowance we can offer - the sites are 5 minutes away from a beautiful country park and close to the foothills of the stunning Peak District National Park, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. For those that like city-life, the city centre can be reached by train in only 10 minutes and tram in 20 minutes. For international vets - Manchester International airport is only a 30-minute drive away – and of course we'll arrange all the necessary paperwork and sponsorship.
