Irby Veterinary Surgery

We have an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join our supportive and friendly teams at Irby & Neston Veterinary Surgery on a full or part-time basis. Salary up to £50k DOE pro rata.

Irby & Neston Veterinary Surgery are a busy two site first opinion practice, based in Merseyside and Cheshire West, with a passion and dedication to providing the highest quality of care. Both practices are close to the M53 and M56 motorways, with great fast links to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales.

Both sites are RCVS Small Animal GP accredited and very well-equipped with multi parameter anaesthetic monitors, flexible and video endoscopy, 2 year old ultrasound machines capable of cardiac work, diathermy, bair huggers, infusion pumps and digital radiography.

We are looking for a vet who is confident working sole charge to join the teams at Irby and Neston. You will have the opportunity to work with a busy and varied caseload and the role will include a mixture of consults and surgeries. You will be supported by the Practice Director, 3 Vets - one a Certificate holder, 4.5 RVN's and a great clinical support team across both sites.

We can consider full or part-time hours - there will be a requirement to work a share of weekends on a rota basis. There is no Bank Holiday, OOH or on-call cover required in this position.

In addition to offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to work in, we will offer a salary up to £50k DOE pro rata.

We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry - and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list at on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)

If you share our passion for delivering exceptional client and patient care, are extremely motivated at the thought of working in a progressive practice alongside our experienced team, then we would love to hear from you.
