We are looking for an passionate and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon who is considering a move to sunny Australia! You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team of 8 vets with a range of different backgrounds and interests, many of which are from (or have worked in) the UK. The practice is bright, spacious and modern (contact us for a virtual tour of the practice and a video on what life is like working at the practice!) You'll have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including human grade CT scanners, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray and all the latest technology including Ligasure and Cayman surgical handpieces. Cases are very rarely referred on as they have members of the team who perform TTOs, MPLs and other orthopaedic surgeries. You'll be supported by a fully trained nursing team and reception and administrative team too, allowing you to focus on doing what you do best - being a Vet!

Ideally, we are looking for someone that is looking to relocate to Australia long term, though we are happy to speak to people planning to go on a working holiday visa for 3-12 months. Full time is 4-days a week, 1 weekend a month and no OOH. The practice is a VISA Approved employer and are willing to help overseas vets achieve Permanent Residency in Australia through sponsorship.

Key Duties

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • You must be registered with the RCVS
  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months post-graduation veterinary experience (new grads may still be considered so please don't hesitate to apply!)
  • Friendly, enthusiastic attitude and enjoy meeting new people
